CUR

TENS therapy plus quality-of-life tracking that's super easy to use

CLEAR THINKING

about pain can benefit from accurate and consistent data about when we experience symptoms, how long they last, and what else is happening in our lives along with pain episodes. But most treatments for pain don't contain a measurement component, or, in the rare cases when they do, the measurement process is burdensome and oftentimes seems futile. Only when the tracking data is connected to the actual experience and context of pain can it deliver enough meaning to be an asset rather than a burden.

MAKING IT EASY

for pain patients to track their quality of life and then providing this quality-of-life data in a way that syncs to their daily calendar, including work, exercise and social events, is critical to making progress.

CUR

delivers targeted electrical pulses that block pain signals from reaching your brain. The treatment works similar to pain medications except without any side effects. Most users of CUR find that using this treatment one or more times per day keeps them from experiencing pain throughout the day. Because a typical treatment session is 1+ hours we are able to use the sensors in the device to record windows of time in our users’ lives with high reliability and consistency. The sensors in our device capture meaningful information about quality of life (via accelerometers), pain location (via bioimpedance), and objective pain scores every time our users apply the device and wear it for more than 20-30 minutes. We think the super easy-to-use nature of our device, the sensors it contains, and its pain relief benefits of make it one of the simplest ways for people with chronic muscle, joint and nerve pain to treat, understand and manage their pain over time. A highly specialized process involving medical equipment and professional scientific research now broadens to include patients, family members, caregivers, and anybody close to patient who wants to understand and help.
